Why hire someone to help instead of doing it myself? 

We're sure you've tried playroom organizing on your own - and it works - maybe for a day or two. But before you know it, you're right back where you started, surrounded by all the toys the kids dump out, but never, ever put away. We solve that problem once and for all with our unique 4 part S.A.N.E. Method. Because what good is it if it looks Instagram ready, but doesn't solve the toy mess problem forever?

What's the secret system?

Based upon our decade of playroom organizing experience, the key to organizing your playroom lies in our system, The S.A.N.E. Method to Organize Your Playroom. The 4 steps are:

• S = SORT - go through everything and get rid of anything that is broken, outgrown, unused or excess.. Most people can do this, but then what do you do with all the stuff you don't want? We know sources to donate them to.
• A = ARRANGE - this means not only storing like with like, but having the right storage supplies to do the job. This doesn't mean cute labels that look adorable but don't function. Those are strictly form over function -  but true organizing is function over form. Every time. But it matters what shelving units you use and what bins you use. The wrong ones will never work.
• N = NAME - everything needs a name, which means a label. Without labels, you're the only one that knows where the toys belong - which is great if you want to be the only one putting things away. And pictures are key. But it matters where you put the label. Put them in the wrong place, and it's complete waste of your time.
• E = EMPOWER - every child wants to run every part of their world, but we let them be in charge of nothing. Our system empowers them to take charge of their playroom,  enables them to do the clean up on their own, and teaches them executive functioning skills at the same time. That’s the magic of Toy Taming!

How long does it take?

One day for me to look at your space, and then, in the Done For You model one day for us  to transform it, with the occasional HUGE job taking two. And that includes everything - even the picture labels. We bring our own printer and laminator to get the job done quickly.  

In the Done With You and Done By You options, it obviously takes longer. It all depends upon what else is going on in your life, but most people can complete it within two weeks. 

What's the average cost?

The Done For You Option 

Starting at $3,900, (not including the cost of the CDA plan), this option means you don’t need to lift a finger. It’s all done for you, including donating any toys you no longer need. Larger or multiple spaces will cost more, while smaller spaces may be less. It depends on the size of your space, the number of toys, and how many storage units are needed.

Your CDA plan includes our "one flat fee," which means you’ll know the total cost of your playroom transformation upfront. We offer this because we price by the job, not the hour, so everything is crystal clear from the start. And remember, the one fee covers everything - storage furniture, supplies, delivery, assembly, sorting, organizing, labeling and more!

The Done With You Option

Starting at $575 for a half-day (not including the cost of the CDA plan), this option includes everything from the CDA, plus a detailed supply list with links so you can easily purchase all the necessary materials. You’ll handle the purchasing and assembly of the storage and supplies, while I come in to sort, organize, and label everything.

The final cost will depend on how long the sorting, organizing and labeling process takes. Pricing is based on half-day and full-day sessions.

The Done By You Option – Love Your Playroom Plan

Starting at $495, this option is entirely online. It covers everything from how to create your own CDA, to selecting the right storage furniture, to getting the right supplies, to how to sort, how to organize, how to label. It includes everything you need to create the perfect Toy Tamer playroom. It’s perfect for customers outside the New York Metropolitan area or those on a smaller budget who want professional results without the full cost. And there is always the option for me to create your CDA for you, and/or Zoom or FaceTime with me for personalized guidance so you don't have to go it completely alone.

Will it last? 

Yes, just be sure to follow the system and put the kids in charge of clean up. They want to be in charge of something - so once you give them the right tools to succeed, you'll be surprised how much pride they take in keeping it neat and clean. Plus, they can actually play with all their toys again! And, when we do the job for you, it includes free labels forever - this way the kids never outgrow the space. When a new toy is added, simply send us a photo, we'll turn it into a new label and mail it to you. They're easy to swap out - and then your playroom is forever age appropriate, at least until the kids outgrow all their toys! Then simply remove all the labels and the storage units can be used for any thing, so no money is wasted on storage units the kids will outgrow. Since the system grows with your child, it will literally last forever.

Why does this system work?

In order for organizing to be a one time and works forever job, you need all four steps. Most people do one or two steps, think they’re done, and wonder why everything's a mess again as soon as the kids start to play. That’s where we comes in. We do all 4 steps for you - ensuring your playroom functions and looks beautiful for now and forever. We truly are playroom organizing done right!  

How does this benefit my kids?

An organized play space not only makes the entire family's day to day life easier, but studies show that children who learn executive functioning skills at a young age have more success in every part of their lives. School, home, career  - learning how to organize it all starts when they're young. Kids who are surrounded by clutter have cluttered minds, and that's an extra burden they don't need.  Our Unique Toy Tamer S.A.N.E. Method teaches kids how to clean up through the process of fun, instead of the fear that someone is going to yell at them to put the toys away. Cleaning up becomes a giant matching game, with immediate gratification the reward, and an organized playroom the result. There are no better motivators then that. Why can't I handle this myself? 

It's not your fault. You simply don't have the right system in place.
